I guess that you have already heard about the DJI company, a well-known global leader in aerial photography and cinematography platforms. Today we would like to present you their brand new UAS miracle: the DJI Inspire 1. This outstanding quadcopter is equipped with the world´s first flying 4K camera that offers midair transformation as well as a built-in wireless HD video transmitter, more camera control that ever and stabilization indoors without GPS. Therefore, DJI Inspire 1 stands for an excellent tool for professional photographers, cinematographers or UAV enthuziasts worldwide. According to the DJI CEO and co-founder, Frank Wang, the Inspire 1 is supposed to be a perfect combination of Spreading Wings series and the Phantom. They simply created a device which is able to take off at the button while simultaneously giving users fine control of the images they capture. In simple terms, This drone is an evolutionary leap upon the Phantom series.

The incorporated 4K aerial camera is not just a groundbreaking device for fantastic visual experience, but thanks to an integrated 3-axis gimbal it is capable of maintaining stability even in strong wind conditions. Another perfect element of the whole UAS is a wireless HD transmitter, Lightbridge, connected to the newest mobile app and broadcasting 1080p video with transmitting range up to 1.7km. With carbon-fiber landing gear that lowers and lifts automatically on take-off and landing, the camera’s 94-degree field of view is left unobstructed as it captures video at resolutions up to 4K at 30fps and 12-megapixel stills. The camera rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts 125 degrees. The lens uses 9 elements in 9 groups, and contains an aspherical element, along with anti-distortion and UV filters. The X3 is capable of capturing 12MP JPEG and DNG Raw files and offers three capture modes including single shooting, burst shooting (3/5/7 fps options), and time lapse.

For long flight endurance is a quadcopter equipped with a brand new 6-cell battery. Flight time longer than 18 minutes enables the customer to accomplish virtually any possible task in the air. A specially designed app for pilots is able to monitor each cell´s strenght in order to make the flight even safer. In case of low battery you shouldn´t be worried, there is DJI´s signature automatic landing function. Additional features include dual operator control, gimbal and camera settings control integrated into the remote controller, 94-degree field of view camera limiting lens distortion, larger, more versatile sensor which allows for better low light performance, Improved motors, propeller design, flight controller and electronic speed controllers (ESC) to provide more finely tuned flight controls. Sounds quite impresive, isn´t it? If you really want to discover the new horizons of aerial video, you can simply purchase the great Inspire 1 in our e-shop soon.
